Disney Announces Plans for New Incredibles Movie
Posted on March 22, 2014
Disney announced plans for a new The Incredibles movie this week. The announcement was made by Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger at the 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Brad Bird, who directed The Incredibles, will return to lead the second film. It has been almost a decade since the first Pixar film was in theaters in November 2004. This is somewhat surprising since the first film was such a big hit. It made $631 million worldwide in 2004. Variety reports that Bird will also write the script.
Disney also confirmed a third Cars film will be made.
