The Dark Knight Rises Wins Box Office for Third Consecutive Weekend

The Dark Knight Rises won the box office for the third consecutive weekend. The film added $36.4 million to bring its total gross to over $354 million. Total Recall, starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel, opened in second and made $26 million. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days made $14.7 million and opened in third.
Dog Days was followed by Ice Age: Continental Drift, The Watch, Ted, Step Up Revolution and The Amazing Spider-Man. You can see the complete box office report here.
