Comedians Spoof Infamous Vanity Fair Cover
Posted on March 2, 2009
Remember the March, 2006 Hollywood Issue cover of Vanity Fair on which Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johansson lounged while Tom Ford whispered into Keira's ear? Well, Annie Leibovitz -- who shot that infamous cover -- has shot an homage of the photo using Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel and Jonah Hill
The comic actors are all wearing wildly unflattering bodysuits. All except for Paul Rudd, who is doing a hilarious imitation of Tom Ford, only he's whispering sweet nothings into Seth Rogen's ear, instead of Scarlett Johansson's.
There's a behind the scenes video of the photo shoots for the feature story called "Comedy's New Legends." Each comedian dresses up as a famous person -- real or imagined. Seth Rogen wanted to be Frida Kahlo.
Vanity Fair has more photographs from its cover shoot. Other photos feature Danny McBride, Russell Brand, Bill Hadder, Anna Faris, Leslie Mann, Jason Bateman, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett. They are all worth a look.
