Casting for Jem and the Holograms Movie Announced

The casting for the upcoming Jem and the Holograms movie has been announced. The coveted lead role of Jem went to Aubrey Peeples. Aubrey currently stars on Nashville and she was Claudia in Syfy's Sharknado.
Jem's three band members will be played by Stefanie Scott (Kimber), Hayley Kiyoko (Aja) and Aurora Perrineau (Shana). The above photo was shared on the Jem and the Holograms website. Aubrey also shared this cast photo on her Instagram account.
The film was first announced in March with a YouTube video. Jason Blum, CEO of Blumhouse Productions, teamed up with Scooter Braun and director Jon M. Chu to make the film.
