Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg Star in the Trailer for Woody Allen's Cafe Society

Amazon and Jeff Bezos are heading to the 2016 Cannes Film Festival after buying the rights to Woody Allen's new comedy Cafe Society for $20 million. The film will open the festival and is screening out of competition. Lionsgate will release the film in theaters before streaming it. The film is set in the 1930s and stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart, who also teamed up for the spy comedy American Ultra.
Jesse plays Bobby, a young man who heads to Hollywood to get involved with the film industry. He is taken under the wing of Phil (Steve Carrell) who shows him the ropes. He falls for a young woman named Vonnie (Kristen Stewart), but she already has a boyfriend. The film also stars Blake Lively, Anna Camp, Corey Stoll, Kelly Rohrbach, Parker Posey, Judy David, Paul Schneider and Armen Garo.
This is a departure for Jesse Eisenberg. He seems to fit right in to the 1930s setting. And if all of the leads of Woody Allen's movies are actually his alter egos, Jesse can do that, too. Blake Lively looks lovely and Steve Carrell is quite funny in the trailer. Take a look:
