Bro4 to Perform at Downsized White House Easter Egg Roll

Posted on April 14, 2017

The White House Easter Egg Roll is a big deal in Washington. President Bush and President Obama turned the egg roll into extravagant events with activities for kids and readings and performances by major celebrities.

President Trump has been receiving criticism in the press ahead of this year's event for what looks like a serious lack of preparation. The Washington Post says it will be a "smaller, less splashy affair."

The White House even had to be reminded to order the commemorative eggs and nearly missed the manufacturing deadline. Slate reports that there will only be 40,000 commemorative wooden eggs made this year. That is over 50% less than the number of wooden eggs ordered (85,000) ordered under Obama in 2016. This year's eggs are available for purchase here in the The White House Historical Association's online store. They include a special gold egg. The eggs are all signed by President Trump and Melania.

Not only did Obama have more special wooden eggs he also had significantly greater star power. Past performers at Obama Egg Roll events have included Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Idina Menzel. Donald Trump's Egg Roll will have an unknown boy band named Bro4 (pictured above). The New Jersey boy band currently has an extremely small following on Facebook, @bro4rocks, of just 235 followers. This is likely to grow over the weekend as the young unknown group will be getting major exposure.

Another performing band will be The Martin Family Circus. It will take place on Monday, April 17th from 7:30 am to 6:45 pm.
