Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard are WWII Spies in Allied Trailer

Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard star in the first teaser trailer for Allied, a World War II thriller. Pitt plays British intelligence officer Max Vatan who must work with a French Resistance fighter named Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard). The two embark on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. They pose as husband and wife and end up falling in love for real. This complicates matters considerably.
Now of course you're immediately thinking of the parallel to Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but Allied is a totally different movie in tone, theme and setting, although the film does rely on the chemistry between its two leads. It doesn't hurt that they both look fabulous in their period clothing.
The film was directed by Roger Zemekis and the cinematography is stunning. The screenplay was written by Steven Knight. The film also stars Lizzy Caplan, Matthew Goode, Raffey Cassidy, Jared Harris, Charlotte Hope and August Diehl.
The film is set for release on November 23rd. Take a look:
