Beyonce's Rise Up Song for Epic

Beyonce has created an original song, "Rise Up," for the upcoming film, Epic. The song, performed by Beyonce, is written by Beyonce and Sia and produced by Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe. The track will be released through Columbia Records.

The film takes place is a fantastical world and tells the story of a battle between the forces of good, who keep the natural world alive, and the forces of evil, who wish to destroy it. Beyonce also voices Queen Tara, the queen of the Leafmen, in the movie, which arrives in theaters on May 24, 2013.
