It's a Terrifying Day at the Office in First Trailer for James Gunn's The Belko Experiment
Posted on December 3, 2016
The first trailer for The Belko Experiment has dropped and it is gripping. Written by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) the horror thriller is set in a high tech office building of a non profit corporation. In the middle of a week day, an announcement comes over the loudspeaker. A man's voice informs all the workers that if they do not immediately kills three of their co workers, then six will be executed.
At first, no one believes that the announcement is real. It sounds like a joke -- until one worker's head explode. Apparently these workers all made the mistake of allowing the corporation to install a tracking chip inside them. Now that chip can be used to blow them up. The building goes on lockdown and it's every man for himself. But who is running this appalling experiment, and how has the rest of the city not noticed that a major office building is on lockdown and all its occupants are being forced into a replay of the Hunger Games -- office style.
This is a great concept and if it was written by James Gunn, you know it's going to be good. The film was directed by Greg McLean and stars Tony Goldwyn, John Gallagher Jr., Adria Arjona, Michael Rooker, John C. McGinley, Sean Gunn and Melonie Diaz. Take a look:
