Author Harry Harrison Dies at 87

Science fiction author Harry Harrison has died at age 87. Some of Harrison's most popular series included Deathworld, The Stainless Steel Rat and Bill, the Galactic Hero. Harrison's novel Make Room! Make Room! was also the basis for the Soylent Green movie starring Charlton Heston. Harrison was the recipient of the Damon Knight Memorial Grand Master Award from the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America in 2009.
