Argo Wins Weekend Box Office

Argo won the weekend box office, which was reduced to due people staying home because of Hurricane Sandy in the northeast. The film made $12 million to bring its total gross to $60.5 million.
Cloud Atlas opened in second and made just under $10 million. It was followed by Hotel Transylvania and Paranormal Activity 4. The Silent Hill: Revelation 3D horror film opened in fifth and made $8 million. The other films opening this weekend were Fun Size, starring Victoria Justice, and Chasing Mavericks, starring Gerard Butler. Both films struggled during the Hurricane Sandy weekend.
