Andrew Garfield Impersonates Justin Timberlake on SNL's Celebrity Family Feud
Posted on May 4, 2014
Celebrity Family Feud is usually a very good sketch and this week's was no exception. This time the show pitted American musicians against international musicians. Andrew Garfield pulled out a very surprising and absolutely hilarious impersonation of SNL fave Justin Timberlake.
He preened, posed for the ladies and danced. In fact, if there was a camera, he was right there making his move. It was really something to see. Nasim Pedrad played Bruno Mars (for those who like Michael Jackson but wish he was a little smaller) and Kyle Mooney as electronic musician Skrillex. Kenan Thompson is extremely funny as host Steve Harvey who gets most of the best lines.
Kate McKinnon was Shakira who loves to play "yangri birs" on her cellular phone, Jay Pharoah was super polite Candadian rapper Drake, and Aidy Bryant was a feisty Adele with an Eliza Doolittle laugh. But Taran Killam's Russell Crowe was a real standout on that team. Harvey noted that Crowe's singing in Les Miserables didn't sound like singing to him commenting, "That ain't sining. That's more like getting yelled at by your butcher." Ouch. Take a look:
