Amy Winehouse's Cocaine-Laced Cotton Candy

Posted on October 13, 2008

You know how people rent machines to make cotton candy for parties sometimes? Well, you might want to be on the spot when the sweet treat is actually made. A new report in The Daily Mail says that Amy Winehouse mixes cocaine powder into her cotton candy machine and voila! -- cocaine laced cotton candy.

Some "friend" showed her how to do it and she reportedly eats it all the time.

She uses a high-end £700 ($1,000 dollar) candyfloss machine according to the report.

Ms Winehouse has a £700 candyfloss machine into which she reportedly sprinkles wraps of cocaine before whipping up the sweet treat - her 'coke 'n candy special'.

The article says it was her friend Mick's idea.

The source said: 'It was Mick's idea. The candyfloss machine was Amy's pride and joy and he thought it would be funny to give it a boost.

'He and a some pals sprinkled a wrap of coke into the mixture and Amy started eating it before she realised what they'd done. She now thinks it's a hoot to do the same.'

The whole Amy Winehouse story is so sad and awful. It certainly looks she's on another downward spiral. Cocaine in cotton candy? That's just horrifying. And probably pretty hard to detect if you're an unsuspecting party guest, we're thinking. So, you've been warned.
