SNL Skit: All My Children Wrap Party
Posted on September 25, 2011
After 41 years on the air, the soap opera All My Children finally is off the air. Saturday Night Live did a hilarious skit showing the wrap party in which Susan Lucci attempts to make it all about her. But it's just not possible, as cast and crew members from the past keep making dramatic appearances.
First up is Cornelius DeVanche (Alec Baldwin), the first stage manager of the show, who makes an appearance to proclaim he is Susan Lucci's missing husband. Then, the lighting designer from the mid-90s (Bill Hader) who fell into a well (or was he pushed?) stops by for some more drama. Grover Kensignton (Kenan Thompson), the old hair and makeup artist who died 25 years ago in a wig fire (or did he?), has some shocking news to share. And that's just the beginning. Sadly, the dapper guy in an eye patch (Andy Samberg) is actually in the wrong room so we never heard his story. Take a look:
