Alison Brie Talks About Wearing Pregnant Belly and Girdles on Mad Men

Alison Brie plays Trudy on Mad Men, an AMC series set back when men completely ruled the workplace. Trudy is currently pregnant and Alison Brie talks about what it is like wearing the pregnant belly for the show.

Alison says in an interview for the series that she loves the pregnant belly suit. She says it "makes me feel very thin. It dwarfs the rest of your body because you have this big mass on you."

Alison talked with Seth Meyers about the period pieces she wore as Trudy and she revealed she had an accident because of the girdles. Alison says, "They were a bit restrictive and there is a bit of learning curve in figuring out how to wear them." She says, "Basically you're supposed to wear it, like as underwear, you're not supposed to wear modern underwear underneath it, because that is your underwear." She says, "I didn't realize this for like a season and a half of Mad Men."

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Alison revealed her preference among the mad men. She says she would choose Don Draper over Roger Sterling.
