Patsy and Edwina Go Wild in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie

Patsy and Edwina are finally back -- and they're making their feature film debut. The stars of the British comedy Absolutely Fabulous are just as fabulous as ever, as is made quite clear in the trailer. Jennifer Saunders returns as ad executive Edina Monsoon and Joanna Lumley reprises her role as Patsy Stone.

The duo are living their normal life, shopping, drinking and hobnobbing with celebrities when they are blamed for a disturbing incident at a fashion launch party. They escape to the French Riviera, and we have no idea what happens after that and neither will you after seeing this trailer. But who cares? Ab Fab is not really about plot, anyways.

The film is packed with celebrities, some doing mere cameos, some with more screen time. Rebel Wilson, Gwendoline Christie, Emma Bunton, Joan Collins, Cara Delevigne and Kate Moss are just a few of the celebs getting in on the action.

So, back to trailer. It's a stream of consciousness montage of Patsy and Edwina having the time of their lives in the South of France. Everyone looks fabulous and it looks like the good times will never end. Of course, with these two you know disaster of some kind is waiting around the corner.

The screenplay was written by Jennifer Saunders. The film was directed by Mandie Fletcher. The film will hit theaters in the U.S. on July 22, 2016. Take a look:
