2009 Golden Globe Nominations Announced

The Golden Globe nominations were announced yesterday. The nominees for Best Picture (Drama) are Avatar, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, Precious: Based On The Novel Push By Sapphire, and Up In The Air. Meryl Streep was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for both Julia and Julia and for It's Complicated. Sandra Bullock was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama for Blind Side and for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for The Proposal.

Nine did very well with five nominations, including Best Actress for Marion Cotillard and Best Picture (Musical or Comedy). It is a great movie worthy of multiple accolades.
